Then and Now: From Andy, with Love is a collaborative research project by two MFA candidates who, under the direction of Assistant Clinical Professor of Art History Hallie Meredith, explore cross-temporal approaches to the process. Kelsey Baker and Chadchom Cheskhun use a variety of mediums to reinvigorate, interrogate, and expand upon works by Andy Warhol from the permanent collection of the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art. This project is both an artistic interpretation of Warhol’s vernacular photography and an intergenerational examination of connections between artists.
Please join us on Thursday, November 14th, 4:30-5:00 pm for a special presentation and viewing in the Collection Study Center, followed by a reception in the Fine Arts Center Lobby 5:00-5:30.
